01 / The work before the doors open

Your opening date isn’t the beginning.

People may meet your venue through a sign, a search, a photograph or a booking page before they ever step inside. Those first impressions need to make sense together.

01

Be clear about the place.

A name, story and visual identity that help people understand what you’re creating.

02

Give interest somewhere to go.

A website with the information people need and a clear next step to book, enquire or join.

03

Have something worth showing.

Photography and opening content that introduce the food, space, people and experience.

02 / Your launch, scoped properly

Bring the pieces together.

I’ll build the scope around what you need, what already exists and when you’re opening. If you have suppliers in place, I can work around the gaps.

01

03

The space, food, team and details, ready for your website, press and social channels.

04

Instagram & launch content

The opening story, channel set-up and an agreed set of content to introduce the venue.

The information and assets needed to tell your story, with the outreach scope agreed in the proposal.

06

Google & discovery basics

Accurate venue information, useful website content and a clear route to book—including the details AI search tools can draw on.

04 / The first conversation

Start with the space.

A site visit gives us a useful starting point: what you’re opening, who it is for, what is already covered and what needs to happen next.

Leave with a clear next step.

↗

Identify the priorities before opening.

↗

Separate essential work from what can wait.

↗

Discuss your timing, budget and existing suppliers.

↗

If there’s a fit, move to a scoped proposal.

I’ll confirm the visit arrangements in advance. The proposal sets out the work, fee and delivery plan before you commit to a project.

05 / From first visit to first guests

A practical way forward.

Useful when you are around two to five months from opening. Closer than that? Tell me the date and I’ll be clear about what is realistic.

01 / TELL ME THE PLAN

Venue. Location. Timing.

Share what you’re opening and where you need help. A working name and estimated date are enough to start.

02 / AGREE THE WORK

A scope you can decide on.

After the conversation or visit, I’ll set out the priorities, deliverables, dependencies and price.

03 / GET READY TO OPEN

Work to the milestones.

Bring the agreed brand, web and content work together around the opening plan.

A few useful answers

Where are you starting?

What kinds of venues do you work with?

+

Restaurants, bars, gyms, studios and experience-led venues in London. A new location for an established operator can be a fit too.

Do I need the whole launch package?

+

No. I’ll scope the work around what is missing. If your identity is ready, the useful next step might be the website, photography or opening content.

How much does it cost?

+

The launch fee depends on the deliverables, existing assets, timeline and people required. I’ll provide a scoped proposal before you commit. The price is tailored to the agreed work.

What if I already have a designer, developer or PR agency?

+

Tell me what they are covering. I can discuss the remaining work and how responsibilities would fit together.

How soon should we talk?

+

Ideally around two to five months before opening, while there is still time to make useful decisions. If your date is closer or uncertain, share it and I’ll assess what can be done.

Do I need a confirmed opening date?

+

No. An estimated window is enough for an initial conversation. Delivery commitments will depend on the scope, access to the space and the inputs needed.

Can I see the checklist first?

+

Yes. Select “Before you open checklist” in the enquiry below, or email me to request it. It is a starting point for planning the public-facing side of your launch.
